The Cyclone nitro car is our entry level model for the on road racer. Perfect for the beginner it features a simple gearbox and easy layout which will allow you to be racing in no time. Although more simple than the PRO version the Cyclone is still a seriously fast nitro racing car with an excellent performance profile. With its strong alloy chassis, shaft driven 4WD system and sealed radio compartments you will be amazed at the speed, handling and quality of such a low priced model. The Cyclone comes fully built with radio control included. Just add fuel and a glow start and prepare to enter the world of nitro radio controlled racing.

NEW FOR 2008! - Acme Tech models now come with high quality Team Infinity engines. Team Infinity engines are made in Japan and feature a simplified carb that makes them the easiest to start and most reliable engines on the market. Nitro engines usually have two or more tuning needles but these only have a single adjustment that makes them much easier to use without sacrificing any power.

Cyclone Pro - Upgrade Option 1

Our quickest model, the Cyclone PRO is for the serious racer. With exceptional quality, engineering and design it offers the highest performance and responsive handling. The Cyclone PRO has been upgraded with a two speed automatic gearbox and tough aluminium shock absorbers. It also comes fully loaded with racing ball bearings througout instead of the standard metal bearings found in most models. Ball bearings give a quicker and smoother ride and most other manufacturers charge at least £30 for this upgrade. Of course the model also boasts the high build quality of all Acme models with a strong alloy chassis, shaft driven 4WD system and sealed radio compartments. The Cyclone PRO comes fully built with radio control included - just add fuel and a glow start.
